As Winter starts to shut her weary eyes and Spring is awakened; moment by moment everything seems to change. A light is turned on in all of us as we see the changing of the seasonal guard in nature. The closing of the dark months and the idea of longer days and less clothes sparks an eager and impatient palette on our lives.
This is always the time I look at the months ahead and ideas of far away travels stew. This is also the time that wedding invites and save the dates appear making some travel choices for you. In the next 6 months I need to visit 3 countries and around 4-5 states, attend 7 weddings and host several trunk shows. All of which are for pleasure for I love my job, my friends and my family. The phrase you should always live in the moment can be riddled with impossibility. I look to the moment for guidance for my future thoughts and wants. I thus live in the future, I have too. When you own your own business you look to the next month constantly for it is upon you financially. This is the norm for all of us proprietors and it is what will keep you sane and in business. The other thing is to ALWAYS HIRE SOMEONE TO DO YOUR TAXES! Moments are fleeting but the ones spent doing such awful tasks as taxes...those moments take forever.
